My Year of Adventures:

  • January – New Year skiing in Nendaz, Switzerland, then seeing family in Sydney, Australia
  • February – London at the Strictly Come Dancing Tour at the O2 (Newmarket Holidays), Kew Gardens Orchid Festival and Bournemouth 6D cinema
  • March – Stratford upon Avon, Silverstone Half Marathon, London enjoying afternoon tea at The Palm Court at The Langham, amazing afternoon tea and visit to our teddy friends at the prestigious Chewton Glen Hotel & Spa
  • April – Flybe flight to Newcastle at Easter ; a visit to Portsmouth to see the Emirates Spinnaker Tower, Historic Dockyard & Gunwharf Quays; Ferndown Village Hall for performance of ‘The Name Game’
  • May/June – Ottowa, Toronto & the Niagara Falls in Canada – Titan Essential Eastern Canada Tour booked through Hays Travel Broadstone land flying with Air Canada
  • June/July – Trekking in Iceland with Action Challenge; weekend enjoying the Emmerdale Studio Tour & Village with Newmarket Holidays ; Trip to Copenhagen with Norweigan Air
  • August – trip with Flybe to Edinburgh to the Comedy Fringe Festival; Gung-Ho at Upton House, Poole on Saturday 26th – Team of 10 family and friends
  • September – Japan – Titan Essential Japan booked through Hays Travel Broadstone and flying with Air France via Paris
  • October – trip to Burton on Trent; 8 hour silence for the #Silencespeaks campaign
  • November –  Amsterdam with Lastminute.com and Flybe.com; afternoon tea from buyagift.co.uk, at Langtry Manor, Bournemouth; a stall at Wimborne Market on Sunday 19th selling teddy bears/cuddly toys, etc plus the new Rosie Bear 2018 Calendars; trip to the Mayflower Theatre & Ovation Restaurant for a Meal to see ‘Crazy for You’
  • December – Jack & the Beanstalk Panto at Bournemouth Pavilion;  Christmas Afternoon Tea at Hotel du Vin, Poole;  our last trip of the year is to see the pantomime Dick Whittington at the London Palladium, oh no it isn’t!  The panto has a host of stars including Julian Clary, Elaine Page, Diversity, Paul Zerdin (who we saw at the Tivoli ), Nigel Havers, Gary Wilmot, and Charlie Stemp
